‘Filmoteca Canaria’ begins 2023 with a film cycle dedicated to the best romantic comedies from the ‘30s & ‘40s in the history of the cinema.

Synopsis 

Ellie Andrews (Claudette Colbert), a pampered young heiress, manages to escape from her father’s yacht where she had been locked up to prevent her getting married to a fortune hunter. She meets Peter Warne (Clark Gable), a roguish handsome reporter on the lookout for a good story, on a bus she catches headed for New York. Chance and circumstances will unite Ellie and Peter.

Entrance tickets for ‘Filmoteca Canaria’ are put on sale at the Theatre website and at the Box-Office with discounts for the unemployed & students.
