‘Filmoteca Canaria’ begins 2023 with a film cycle dedicated to the best romantic comedies from the ‘30s & ‘40s in the history of the cinema.

Synopsis 

Courtesy of a donation of a quarter of a million dollars, a group of wacky professors, all of them bachelors except one who is a widower, are working on an encyclopedia of human knowledge. When the work is already at a fairly advanced stage, a surprise visit from a cabaret performer (Barbara Stanwyck) makes them rethink their work, as they realize that they are living with their backs to the world.

Entrance tickets for ‘Filmoteca Canaria’ are put on sale at the Theatre website and at the Box-Office with discounts for the unemployed & students.
