 ion. After almost half a century of existence, this year 2022, the event wi
 ll have 253 participants and will be held at the <strong>Casa de Col&oacute
 ;n (Columbus House)</strong>&nbsp;between&nbsp;<strong>3 &amp; 7 October,&n
 bsp;</strong>to place on the table the new challenges of this cultural brid
 ge. During an intense week, 155 men &amp; 98 women, from about 20 different
  countries &amp; close to 40 universities, societies &amp; associations, wi
 ll take part in an academic debate related to the common history of the Can
 ary Islands and the American continent.</p><p>The&nbsp;<strong>aim</strong>
 &nbsp;of this gathering, which for a week, will make Gran Canaria the epice
 ntre of Atlantic studies, is to <strong>compile the achievements attained i
