 years of the First World War. Teams that became legendary, formed by women 
 workers in textile or ammunition factories and who, in a short time, achiev
 ed enormous affection and attention from the public, provoking hostility fr
 om male football institutions.</p><p>After the war many of these teams were
  forced to dissolve by law following a few years of incredible success. Wit
 h the return of the men from the front, the workers lost their jobs in fact
