 a isla,&nbsp;</em>by the Venezuelan artist based in Berlin&nbsp;<strong>Mar
 co&nbsp;Montiel-Soto</strong>, a project commissioned by&nbsp;<strong>Lidia
  Gil Calvo</strong>, which can be visited from 9 August to 20 October at th
 e premises pertaining to CAAM-San Antonio Abad.&nbsp;</p><p>The exhibition 
 puts forward a reflection regarding the connection that unites the&nbsp;<st
 rong>Canaries&nbsp;</strong>with&nbsp;<strong>Venezuela</strong>; two dots 
 on the planet that are geographically distanced by more than 5,700 kilometr
 es, yet at the same time, joined together by a&nbsp;<strong>historical trad
 ition</strong>linked by the migratory movements in both directions and, sin
 ce the days of Columbus, much enhanced by advances in navigation and the fa
 vourable winds &amp; currents of the Atlantic ocean.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><
