  work of these two Catalan contemporaries who are of great importance to Sp
 anish Art at the start of the XXth century.&nbsp;</p><p>30 of the drawings 
 or sketches included in this collection correspond to&nbsp;Joan Junjer&nbsp
 ;(Barcelona 1904&ndash;1994), made using different techniques, such as penc
 il, gouache, aquarelle, or graphite ink on&nbsp;paper representing landscap
 es, urban scenery and figures depicting actual settings in Spain at the sta
 rt of the century.</p><p>The remaining 22 works that go to make up this dis
 play correspond to&nbsp;Joan Sandalinas&nbsp;(Barcelona 1903-1991). Pieces 
 in which the artist utilizes ink, pencil, watercolour &amp; gouache on pape
 r, thus creating a mosaic of different ways of understanding or appreciatin
 g the form that demonstrates his eclectic vision with respect to the avant-
 garde; as well as a clear influence both of cubism and surrealism and of It
