  the Library, by hosting the exhibition &ldquo;Origami y Matem&aacute;ticas
 &rdquo;. With this they intend to bring together this ancestral art where f
 igures are made by using only paper (without cutting or glueing) and their 
 relation to mathematics and geometry in particular, with engineering; witho
 ut forgetting its different applications in our everyday life.&nbsp;&nbsp;&
 nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>The Biblioteca Universitaria (University Library) a
 ppreciates and wants to thank the close collaboration they have had in this
  exhibition with Hitoshi Saito, the Asociaci&oacute;n Cultural (Cultural As
 sociation) Dentou belonging to the Japanese School- Escuela Japonesa- at th
 e university LPGC;&nbsp;&nbsp;Yasuko Minakawa, teacher of the Japanese lang
 uage; and Guillermo Socorro Marrero, researcher at the IUIBS.</p><p>This ex
 hibition is the result of the collaboration between various libraries that 
 pertain to the section of Technology at the University Library.&nbsp;</p><p
