 feature in said cycle, made in the last four years, show that behind the la
 bel of renegade cinema forged in the &lsquo;60s, there is a cinematography 
 as interesting as it is unknown.</p><p><strong>THE PLAY&nbsp;(Hra)</strong>
 </p><p><strong>Synopsis:</strong>&nbsp;. The world of a young theatre direc
 tor in a small Czech town crumbles after he decides to realize his dream of
  adapting an overly ambitious play based on Euripides' classic 'Fedra'. He 
 loses his two main actors during rehearsals and the municipality threatens 
 to cut funding due to the play's political content. When he falls for a you
 ng actress he puts his marriage into jeopardy and soon after finds himself 
 abandoned by both women. Devastated and desperate, he tries to get his wife
  back &amp; regain the last pieces left of his life the best way he can.</p
