take the stage at ‘Miller’ on 6 May
;will be Esperanza Fernández. Gypsy born in th
e neighborhood of Triana, of Flamenco heritage from a family of important s
ingers, guitarrists & dancers, she is one of the most outstanding curre
nt voices of ‘cante’ (Flamenco folk singing). Her sense of timi
ng, harmony & temperament, a voice rich in nuances and great elegance h
ave allowed her to make her way along the most traditional paths, as well a
s other experiences close to fusion, to musical miscegenation and the class
ical world.
