‘El viaje de Matilda’ tells of the journey of the main character all over the world, describing her roots, her forefathers, descendants….

In this way, we get to know just how the ‘marimba’ emerged from the African ‘balafon’, later arriving to America & Japan. Also of the instruments derived from this: the xylophone, the vibraphone & the lira/lyre.
