Attired in evening dress in which he just doesn’t feel comfortable, the dramatist is going to enter the Academy to give a speech titled ‘Silence’. His listeners are the other academics, with whom he shares the podium, and the people – family, friends, colleagues, authorities,strangers - who have come to accompany him this afternoon. He has chosen to talk about silence in life and in the theatre, also travelling through theatrical silences that resonate in his memory and in his body.
