‘Filmoteca Canaria’ begins 2023 with a film cycle dedicated to the best romantic comedies from the ‘30s & ‘40s in the history of the cinema.

Synopsis 

Billie Dawn (Judy Holliday) is Harry Brock’s (Broderick Crawford) fiancé. Brock, a mafioso millionaire, wishes to become a respectable member of high society and is willing to do anything to get there. The problem is that he feels ashamed of his girlfriend Billie’s bad manners and lack of elegance & sophistication. This is why he hires a young & handsome journalist (William Holden), so he could give Billie a course on good manners & etiquette.

Entrance tickets for ‘Filmoteca Canaria’ are put on sale at the Theatre website and at the Box-Office with discounts for the unemployed & students.
