This month the Theatre Guiniguada organizes a masterclass given by the guitarrist Pedro Martínez. 

This Masterclass offers an approach to the South American guitar addressing practical and theoretical aspects. Issues such as musical genres, aesthetics, rhythmic and melodic characteristics, types of accompaniments plus a brief historical overview, will be dealt with. The rhythms that will feature are: polka & ‘guarania’ (Paraguay), ‘festejo’ (Peru), ‘chacarera’ (Argentina) & samba (Brazil).
