Funny drama in two acts with music by Gioachino Rossini & libretto in Italian by Jacopo Ferretti, based on the fairy-tale La cenicienta (Cinderella) by Charles Perrault. The opera premiered at the Teatro Valle in Rome on 25 January 1817.
