International Museum Day 2021 will focus on reconsidering the museum of the future to confront the challenges of the present.

With the motif “El futuro de los museos: Recuperar y reimaginar" (The future of museums: Recover & reimagine), International Museum Day 2021 invites museums, their professional personnel and the communities to create, imagine & share new methods of (co)creating value, new business models for cultural institutions and innovative solutions for social, economic & environmental challenges of the present.
