Alonso Quesada (1886-1925) was a great lover of the theatre and was associated with the performing arts, not only as a playwright but also as an actor.

By means of music & movement, this show of contemporary dance portrays illness, fear, death & their ghosts in a drama that takes place in ‘La Umbría’, the old mansion of the Linares family, in the setting of an Atlantic island during the second decade of the 20th century. The piece shows the profound antagonism between different social strata represented in health-illness dichotomy.
