“The Battle of Jangsari "

Synopsis:

The film, based on the actual Battle of Jangsari, is a tribute to the 772 student soldiers who participated in a naval operation under the command of a Korean & US troops during the decisive phase of the Korean War. This group of volunters, with the bare minimum of military training, carried out a decoy operation on the coast of Jangsari, just a day before the actual disembarkation of allied troops in Incheon. A manouvre to throw off North Korean troops, but at the same time, suicidal ( the soldiers had to remain there for a period of two days without any military support) to ensure victory at Incheon, and the destiny of the war.
