Intrigue, love & comedy by Calderón de la Barca. A production by 2RC Teatro.

In this work Calderón wanted to utilize & take advantage of the intrigue & amorous play that the figure of the galán fantasma (phantom suitor) provided. The outcome, which ends with the exposure of the bogus phantom - a product of the imagination of some characters -, corroborates & verifies the rational stance taken by Calderón rather than the superstitions in keeping with that time period.
