Synopsis:

A group of Anglican nuns open a hospital in an ancient temple in the Himalayas. Economic difficulties and hostility by the natives soon lead to tension among the nuns themselves. A British agent tries to mediate among them to solve their problems, but his presence there results in awakening, with fatal consequences, the surpessed sexuality among some of the sisters.
