Walaa is an adolescent who lives in the Balata refugee camp in the city of Nablus (Palestine). She is brave & stubborn and has decided to enlist in the National Palestine Law Enforcement Authority. The entrance tests for the police department are very hard but, if successful, she would become one of the few policewomen to serve in the West Bank. She is still young & immature, but submission does not form part of her vocabulary.

Walaa´s life is marked by the instinct for survival and in overcoming large obstacles. Her mother had spent 8 years in prison for aiding a suicide terrorist and her younger sister was tied up trying to copy her idols in street fighting. All this added up to a nest of contradictions for Walaa´s future plans.

A film that makes us aware of the life of a woman from the age of 15 to 21 who, willing to go to the very limit, dares to question the establishment and cast doubt on the very structure of her surroundings.
