Concert by the flutist Maria Toro, who will be accompanied by Akior García on the drums, José Alberto Medina on the piano and Tana Santana on the double bass.

With a notion that was born in flamenco and raised in jazz, Toro has taken years preparing the path to her own expressive language. Her continuous physical trips have enabled her to become acquainted with local musicians without leaving her roots, something which provides accents and textures to her work as a soloist. Be it with renowned European artists, those from the New York jazz scene or with top figures of Brazilian music, the project always has a common denominator: Maria’s distinctive flute.
