In its second appearance at the 36th Festival, the Nordic orchestra will de accompanied by the fantastic French cellist Jean-Guilhen Queyras, performing a briiliant rendition of Dvorak’s Concerto for Violoncello. To open the programme the orchestra will once again feature Nielsen with his Overture “Maskarade” (Masquerade) and his Symphony Nº 4 will close it.
