In the month of March 2020, the Cinema Association Vértigo collaborates with La Regenta Art Centre to present a cycle dedicated to International Women’s Day.

Projection will be at 19:00 hours in VOS (original version with Spanish subtitles) and entrance is free.

Synopsis

Isa is a seamstress and lives with her family in a small town in Costa Rica. Her husband Alcides wishes to have a third child, a son. Isa, however, doesnot want to get pregnant. She wants to focus on her work, as with two daughters she has more than enough on her plate. Until now, she had never questioned her role within the family. Nevertheless, when she realises that Alcides doesn’t seem to be listening to her and persists with his desire to have a third child, she decides that something has got to change.
