In "Pioneras" Patricia Kraus pays tribute to all those great female musicians/artists of the XXth century: Bessie Smith & Billie Holiday, Sara Vaughan & Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, Janis Joplin, Mercedes Sosa & Mina, with her renditions of some of their numbers.
