On Thursday 30, Friday 31 July & Saturday 1 August, from 20:30 hours onwards, Santa Ana Square in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will become the epicentre of popular culture. Six musical groups, exhibitions of the Canarian ‘garrote’ (stick/club) & the shepherd’s leap as well as a parade of traditional Gran Canaria dress of the XVIII & XIX centuries all go to make up the first encounter of popular arts ‘Naifest’.
In compliance with the health & safety regulations imposed as a result of the current situation, there will be a limited attendance capacity of 500 people daily, maintaining a safe distance and the compulsory use of face masks & sanitizing gel. As in the rest of the municipal cultural programme, entrance will be free with prior registration via the webpage lpacultura.com from Friday 24 July at 08:00 hours onwards.
