‘CARMEN.maquia’ is a contemporary version of the classic by Merimée while keeping intact the overall storyline of the operatic libretto. This work for 13 musicians had been rated by the ‘Chicago Sun’ as a masterpiece and a model piece that other companies like the ‘Ballet Hispánico’ (New York) and Ballet Met (Columbus) include in their repertoire.
