From 29 January 2021 onwards, the International Film Festival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will dedicate the last weekends of the months of January, February & March to a cycle that joins the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the premiere of one of the best films in cinema history: Deseando amar (In the Mood for Love) by Wong Kar-wai.
In addition, the programme of ‘Efecto Cinema’ includes a series of very recent films, among which are the best of the past year, but have remained without being premiered in our city, and neither in some cases, at the chain of Spanish commercial cinema venues.
The programme for 26 & 27 February 2021 is as follows:
Friday 26 February / 19.00: 2046 (Wong Kar-wai, 2004) 129 min.
Saturday 27 February / 17.00: Ondina (Christian Petzold, 2020) 92 min.
Saturday 27 February / 19.00: My Mexican Bretzel (Nuria Giménez Lorang, 2020) 74 min.
