The group ‘Non Trubada’ was formed in 1992 with the name ‘TARANTELA’. Adapting the most deeply rooted musical sounds to the Islands - like that of the timple, chácaras and the tambor (drum)- with those essential in a carousal – the guitar, lute, ‘bandurria’... and instruments from different places & cultures, such as the ‘djembé’, managed to climb to the forefront of the “Nueva Canción Canaria”.
