The "Evgeny Svetlanov" State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Russian Federation is one of the oldest in the country, with 85 years of history.

An ambassador for Russian culture around the world, the orchestra will take the stage for the closing concerts of the 38th FIMC together with their brand-new main conductor, Vassily Petrenko, and a young talent on the Russian music scene: pianist Anastasia Makhamendrikova.
