On Friday 6, 13 & 20 May at 20:30 hours the ‘Miller’ Culture Hall will become a ‘tablao’ (Flamenco stage & dance floor) . The cycle “Al aire” will feature singing, playing music and dancing with three great Flamenco artists: Esperanza Fernández, Tomasito and José Mercé. Entrance to the concerts may be acquired via lpacultura.com or entrees.es.
The first to take the stage at ‘Miller’ on 6 May will be Esperanza Fernández. Gypsy born in the neighborhood of Triana, of Flamenco heritage from a family of important singers, guitarrists & dancers, she is one of the most outstanding current voices of ‘cante’ (Flamenco folk singing). Her sense of timing, harmony & temperament, a voice rich in nuances and great elegance have allowed her to make her way along the most traditional paths, as well as other experiences close to fusion, to musical miscegenation and the classical world.
