The contemporary dance show La Umbría, which will be staged on 25 & 26 November, features a project for the dissemination of the creative process in the performing arts in the Canary Islands called Creando La Umbría(Creating ‘La Umbría’). Over the next three months this will include four workshops oriented to the performing arts sector and the general public planned to be held at the Theatre Cuyás & the museum ‘Museo-Castillo de Mata’, where open rehearsals of the said show will also take place; the showing of the short film with the same title shot in 1975 by the artist Pepe Dámaso in the Audiovisual Culture Centre of Gran Canaria; actions on the creative process in municipal libraries and a dramatized reading at the capital’s ‘Miller Space’.

The open rehearsals will have different visiting hours: 20:00h / 21:00h / 22:00h
