‘Decadencia’ (Decadence) is a caustic, provocative play that haunts the audience, corners it and often forces it to laugh so as not to cry.

Its protagonists, two couples formed by three aristocrats and a freeloading scrounger who aspires to take advantage of their weaknesses. They are classist and racist, frivolous and heartless; hypocritical, banal and selfish. They act like predators, they have no principles or limitations, but they do fear that those wretched people whom they despise get together and attack them…
