“KARAOKE PARADISE” (2022)

Synopsis 

Faces. Places. And songs sung with soul. A fun portrait of Finnish passion for karaokes. Each character in this endearing documentary has a story to share. Karaokes are the antidote to loneliness and a medicine to enjoy in community without any great pretenses. We will travel through a Finland hidden behind the topic of a cold and inhospitable country. Film-maker Einari Paakkanen shows us small memorable fragments of life. Singing allows emotions to be expressed, but to do this it’s necessary to have a sense of humour. Garages, bars, living rooms… everyone is welcome to participate in Finnish karaoke parties.

Entrance tickets for ‘Filmoteca Canaria’ put are on sale at the Theatre website a week before the projection, and at the Box-Office with discounts for the unemployed & students.
