The opera relates the love story between Aida, an Ethiopian princess who is captured and taken slave to Egypt, and an Egyptian military general Radamès. He is torn between his love for Aida and his loyalty to Pharoah. And thus begins a love triangle because Radamés is also desired by the daughter of the king of Egypt, Amneris.
